Tucker Wildlife Sanctuary has been the site of over 35 Eagle Scout Projects, many Girl Scout Bronze, Silver, and Gold Awards, and numerous Service Learning Projects. Scouts also assist Tucker staff at events and fundraisers. The Sanctuary provides the perfect outdoor classroom for Scout activities. There are two options for enjoying Scouting at the Sanctuary.

Lead your own activity. Guide your Scouts through native plant communities, identify birds, looks for animal signs and visit the Natural Science Center.

Topics can include: native birds and their adaptations; plants and their parts; or Native American culture. Guided tour program fee of $6 per person applies. Siblings under 5 years old are free. $80 minimum. Call (714) 649-2760 for more information.
